Busy, busy, busy.... All work and no play makes Hephaestus a tired man.
Well, I managed to squeeze this little time to write this tiny post. Something I hope people can think for quite a while, while I disappear again for months.
Now the question(s):
1. A manager of a big company proposed a policy which will earn money, but will harm the environment. The CEO ignores the environmental concerns and agrees, based on monetary terms. The policy ended up earning lots of money for the company, but harms the environment. Is the CEO harming the environment intentionally?
2. A manager of a big company proposed a policy which wil earn money, and will help the environment. The CEO ignores the environmental benefits and agrees, based on monetary terms. The policy ended up earning lots of money for the company, and helps the environment. Is the CEO helping the environment intentionally?
Why does it seems asymmetrical, when the 2 cases are almost identical?
(I heard this from Bloggingheads.tv, where philosophers discuss on webcams. Cool, eh? http://bloggingheads.tv/diavlogs/8796)
