The day I felt the most DL. (its sounds crude, so i initialised it. No offence to my fav class though :D)

The first half of the day was great actually. We went to Yamay! Its the gigantic amusement park in Taichung, and our prime reason to be in Taichung in the first place. We had a taxi to bring us to this faroff place. While the driver waits outside, we had FUN inside:

We attended the special performance they have. They warned us that it was going to get wet, but we didn't care... The consequences?

I bought some stuff from the gift shop there. The sky turned dark suddenly, and rained immediately after I finished my mini-shopping. The downpour did not affect the spirit of the already-wet us. We rushed out of Yamay and took the taxi to the famed Sun Moon Lake. That happened to be on the other end of the province, and the taxi took us there in a few hours. Can you imagine sitting in a taxi for a few hours? Its sickening. I still managed to take a few photos though.

We arrived when it was dark, and nothing could be seen. Disappointed at the lack of scenery visible to us, we only could blame our luck and decision to follow the taxi up to this high grounds. Lesson learnt: Don't believe everything the taxi driver tells you, especially when you're a foreigner.

To sum up our tedious journey up the mountains, we took a photo, with the help from the taxi's headlights.

Our way back was filled with thrills and excitement. We suspected that the driver studied Initial D quite well. His 'drifting' along the mountainous roads leading back to where we lived made our hearts missed a beat or two. If "The Fast and the Furious" ever have another sequel, they should cast these taxi drivers.

" I wonder if you know,
If you live in Toa Payoh,
Then the Hougang and Serangoon
and the Punggol how to go?
In Toa Payoh~! Drift! Drift!
In Toa Payoh~! Drift! Drift!"

We made up the new lyrics adapted to our Singaporean context. These served us well in entertaining ourselves through the return journey, especially with all the bumps.
