The Council has passed Amendment 1.00, with the approval of the majority of the Senate, which states that the number of Senators are expanded to encompass members of all Societies existing in the Republic. All non-Magistrate factions will be represented by one Senator in the Senate.
Along with the expansion of the Senate, the Amendment will also initiate a House of Representatives, where each City will be represented at the House by a member of the local administration. This will form the tertiary body of legislature, and will serve to ensure democracy in the process of law-writing.
This is probably one of the last of the current Council's contributions to the Republic, as the elections have recently ended, and the Investiture will be held the following week, despite the recent rumours affecting the candidates.
