My mentor and I held our first formal meeting yesterday. This is mandatory as all TM members has a mentor and are required to meet with them to talk about personal goals and such. So much for being the elite.

However, it seems that we talked more. As we conversed, we shared more of our stories, and even more of our beliefs. She spoke to me about the skills of a researcher, and life too. I told her about my mildly autistic past, and the wide range of thoughts in my mind. Religion was also a main topic, though unforeseen from a science teacher. After a 'serious' discussion, we both realised that religion is hard to define anyway. One of the main similarities of religions was that they were somehow persistent. Everyone of them is hoping the best for the others. People just stress too much on them, and some just reject all but what they themselves believe. I am quite all right with all the religions. I'm not particularly a believer of one religion.

Our conversation was filled with laughters and joy. I hope to talk to her again.

(This is a short and simple article written for the sake of it. The structure is horrible, and so is the ending. Pardon me for that. This was done on a public computer.)
